Raise awareness among young female engineers
Summer School Women in Transport
One of MUNER’s main goals is to promote a better gender balance in the automotive industry, which is still heavily male-oriented. To this end, it promotes activities to involve and attract new generations of young women.
The Summer School – Women in Transport, organised with the support of the Fondazione Marco Biagi, offers a full immersion experience in the automotive world with the aim of raising awareness among young women and bringing them closer to the transport sector, overcoming gender stereotypes. The initiative also offers incoming orientation activities for the Masters Courses offered by MUNER.
The program is integrated with practical experiences of the history and innovation of the Italian automotive sector, as well as local beauty and culture.
The initiative is endorsed by Women in Transport – EU Platform for Change, the European Commission’s platform to promote women’s employment and equal opportunities for women and men in the transport sector.
