Kick-off of the third edition of the Women in Transport Summer School

Monday marked the start of the third edition of the Women in Transport Summer School.

The 20 enthusiastic students of the new edition have embarked on an intense two-week journey filled with lectures and practical activities.

Yesterday afternoon, the students attended the track tests of the Unimore Formula SAE team at Marzaglia airport.
In addition, the first WIT Alumnae Reunion took place, with some participating remotely and others physically present.
It was a wonderful opportunity that we plan to repeat in the coming years.

Networking is essential, especially in a field where women are often the exception.

When many women who share the same dreams and ambitions, and are used to being the exception in their field, come together for the first time, it creates a moment where it feels like the usual norms can be transformed.

Stay tuned and join us for the highlights of the coming days of Women In Transport 2024!
