ECO Certifications renews the “AAE al Femminile, in memory of Antonia Terzi” scholarship for UNIMORE students enrolled in the Master’s Degree in Advanced Automotive Engineering

For the third consecutive year, ECO Certificazioni S.p.A. and MUNER are pleased to announce the renewal of the “AAE al Femminile, in Memoria di Antonia Terzi” scholarship, worth €5,000.

Dedicated to supporting talented female students enrolled in the Master’s Degree in Advanced Automotive Engineering (AAE) at MUNER, managed by the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (UNIMORE), this scholarship represents a firm commitment to promoting equal opportunities and encouraging women to pursue studies and careers in STEM disciplines.

Named in memory of Antonia Terzi, the pioneering engineer who made history as Ferrari’s first female engineer, the scholarship embodies ECO Certifications’ commitment to the education and empowerment of women in the automotive and engineering sectors.

This year, the scholarship has been awarded to Veronica Massa, an outstanding first year student in the International Master’s Degree Programme in AAE, specialising in Racing Car Design.

Veronica will be recognised at the upcoming TEDxMODENA event during the Motor Valley Fest on 4 May 2024.

“Supporting and encouraging young women in STEM and AAE disciplines is not only a responsibility, but also an investment in the future of our society. The Antonia Terzi Memorial Scholarship pays tribute to her legacy and serves as an inspiration to aspiring female engineers to pursue their dreams”.

Serena Farina, President of ECO Certificazioni S.p.A
