The success of the Diversity and Inclusion Round Table: “Diversity is a core asset”

Modena, 12 July 2024 – The “Diversity and Inclusion” Round Table, the final event of the third edition of the MUNER Women in Transport Summer School, ended with great success.

Held at the Tecnopolo di Modena and organised by MUNER – Motorvehicle University of Emilia Romagna, the event brought together 20 engineering students from around the world and was hosted by the Department of Engineering Enzo Ferrari (Unimore), right in the heart of Motor Valley.

The round table was divided into two panels: one focused on HR and the other on technical roles. This format facilitated a meaningful and collective exchange, allowing students to interact and ask questions about gender issues and their personal journeys.

Members from three of our partner universities and ten of our partner companies contributed to this invaluable opportunity for dialogue and growth, also thanks to the work and efforts of MUNER’s Gender and Diversity Empowerment Committee:

  • AVL: Giorgia Carbone (Communication & Institutional Relations Manager), Roberta Romano (Software and Validation Product Manager)
